Just So You Know

Our Property

Our property is 5 acres and is located in Hill Country. The Hill Country region represents the remote rural countryside of Central Texas. The geography is high, flat land that has been eroded into a hilly terrain over millions of years. We have gorgeous views from our deck that look out over the beautiful Blanco River Valley.

Renovation

We completed the renovation in 2023. We worked carefully with our favorite designers at Roy Hospitality.


We were inspired by past trips to Te Ari Lodge, an intimate, family-run property New Zealand and Troutbeck, a historic property in NY’s Hudson Valley.

The Herndon’s

Welcome to the property. We are a family-owned hotel and we’re so excited to host you. Chris & Steph were college sweethearts at UT Austin and now live down the block. In 2021, they decided to give up the corporate grind to buy and renovate a hotel. It’s been a labor of love.
